The cloud has brought us a new paradigm of use. Its advantages are well known, but how do the services that Google Cloud offers companies stand out compared to other cloud service providers? We will talk about this and why betting on the cloud is, right now, more of a cultural challenge than a technological challenge in this post.
Learn about the pillars of Cloud technology with Google Cloud
As you know, Google Cloud is world leader in cloud technology. Stand out from other security providers. We are probably facing the most secure cloud of all. In an online context in which there are more and more security problems and incidence of cyber attacks, security is a differential value.
Google makes a great effort and work in cybersecurity to ensure that both Google Cloud services and Google’s generic services reach more than a billion people every month, and that these users are safe in this online world avoiding gaps and vulnerabilities to cyber attacks.
Another value in which Google services stand out is the flexibility which translates into speed and agility when deploying servicessupported by a fundamental pillar: the construction of platforms as a service (PaaS). This means that clients access components that are ready to consume, so you don’t have to start your application stack from scratch. The client forgets infrastructure details to focus on building their application or their environment, for example.
“PUE is key to grounding our Google Cloud services and making projects a success”says Javier Martínez, Sales Engineering Manager at Google Cloud, highlighting PUE’s knowledge and years of experience in data and analytics.

From On premise to hybrid deployments or to the Cloud: a cultural challenge
Four or five years ago, when companies began to use the cloud, they faced a technological challenge. And it is that cloud technology was very different from the way they had to work in On Premise. Over the years, both worlds have been merging: right now we already have many On Premise services that are very similar to cloud services; and in turn, in the cloud we have a much richer offer that is similar, if required, to what we can have locally.
Having overcome this technological challenge of coexistence of worlds, the biggest challenge today is cultural. Companies have had to adapt to working with a service provider and to consider and reorganize functions within their structure accordingly.
There is still resistance to change, but this change presents new opportunities, both in terms of performance, improvement and results, as well as in new functions that appear and that, yes, entail the reorientation and adaptation of jobs.
Yes, we are, therefore, facing a refocusing of departments and the relocation and adaptation of functions, but there are still many aspects and knowledge required to control networks, security, analytics, operations, etc., and many skilled technology professionals that are still lacking.
The partnership PUE and Google Cloud, a Win-Win relationship
The relationship between Google Cloud and PUE is a close relationship of years (PUE has been a Google Cloud Service Partner since 2015) marked by a win-win collaboration.
As Javier Martínez from Google Cloud explains to us in the video that we share with you in this post, PUE provides great knowledge in the world of data and analytics and, in addition, it works with a strategy totally aligned with that of Google Cloud: that of the hybrid deployment where what is on premise coexists with what can be deployed in the cloud. It is thus committed to a model in which companies can develop projects where both technologies coexist.
Google Cloud finds in PUE the necessary knowledge that customers need to develop and implement deployments with Cloud technology through the services offered by Google Cloud.
PUE is also an Official Google Cloud Training Partner for provide training and official certification in their technology.
